One course has no certificate: Writing Better Prompts. It is useful and it is free. But we could not mark it fairly — two people can both write a good prompt in totally different ways. We would rather give you no certificate than one that means nothing.

Why projects and not just a test? Anyone can pass a multiple-choice test. A project is work someone can actually look at and judge. That is what an employer wants to see, and it is the part most certificates skip.

Review 20 real answers
Score twenty AI answers using the checklist, and write a short reason for each one. Reviewed against how our experts scored the same twenty.
Label a small set
Sort and tag 100 items to a written standard. Reviewed for accuracy and, just as importantly, for whether you stayed consistent.
Fact-check an article
Take an article written by an AI and check every claim in it. Mark what is true, what is wrong, and what cannot be checked.
Being straight with you about what this is. Onramp does not offer paid work and does not find you a job. What you get is a certificate you earned and a portfolio you can show. Whether that leads anywhere depends on you and on the employer. Anyone promising more than that is selling you something.
If paid work opens up later
We are working on getting paid work onto Onramp. It does not exist yet, and we are not going to put fake job listings up to look busy. If it does happen, we would rather tell the people who already earned a certificate before we tell anyone else.
To be clear: joining the list is not a job offer and not a promise of work. It means one thing only — we will email you if paid work opens up.

Questions
Common questions.
Is this a “make money online” scheme?
No. There is no paid work here at all, and we do not promise you a job. What you get is skills, a certificate you had to earn, and a portfolio of work. If someone tells you a course will make you money online, be suspicious of them.
How old do I have to be?
You can learn and take tests from age 13. If you are under 18 you need a parent's permission to sign up. There is nothing here you need to be 18 for.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use a phone, you can do this. There is no coding. Nothing here assumes you have done it before.
How long does it take?
Most courses are about an hour in total, split into ten-minute pieces. You can do one piece a day and finish in a week.
Will this get me a job?
Not on its own, and be careful of anyone who promises that. What it gives you is something real to point at: a test you passed and work you actually did. That is more than most people your age can show. You can see what an employer sees on our example certificate.
Who gives out the certificate?
We do. Onramp certificates come from Onramp. They are not from a university or the government, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What they prove is that you passed a real test and did real work.
Can I cheat the test using AI?
Not usefully. Many questions ask for a judgement call, where there is no single answer to look up. We also check whether you stay consistent across the whole test. And your level does not come from the test alone — it comes from projects a person reviews.
Who is behind this?
